Chattamovies

Chattamovies is a moviemaker networking group that started in 2010. The groups goal is to connect writers, producers, directors, DPs, Actors, crew, music composers, art directors, and anyone else involved in the storytelling process using movies as the medium so we can support each other in our movie making goals.  We have monthly networking meetings where we introduce ourselves, share what it is we do or want to do in the movie making process, and talk about projects we are working on and how the group can support them. Then we hang out and talk to each other. In the past, Chattamovies has worked on projects as a group, and has supported earLuminator productions. Chattamovies projects include New Year's Days shorts, when we have started the year by doing what we love and making as many shorts as we can in a day.

Standifer has a nice short script that would be a good project for a small crew. We are going to talk more about kicking that project off.  He has also offered to bring his equipment to the August meeting (time/date/place TBD) and talk about how to use them to those interested. He has multiple types of cameras. Anyone else that would like to share expertise let me know and we can set that up.  Also, is anyone interested in a zoom meeting in July?

We have not had our Monthly Networking Meetings for a long while now. But 2021 is time to start them back up again. It will be a chance for everyone to introduce themselves, talk about what they do or want to do in the movie making process, and share information about current projects they are working on .  I look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones.  Hope to see you there,         JimmyLee
